WebRatio has its own set of variables containing the pattern for data types such as date, time and timestamp. These variables have the name composed of the data type name plus the "Pattern" suffix. For example, the pattern for a date is stored in a variable named "datePattern".
The easiest way to retrieve a pattern is to use the set of JSTL tags.
<c:out value="${datePattern}"/>
If you want to use the datePattern in a JSP code fragment, you can save the value in a page context variable using the c:set tag and then retrieve it using JSP.
<c:set var="myVariable" value="${datePattern}"/>
<% String myPattern = (String) pageContext.getAttribute("myVariable")%> %>
Remember that in order to have a different pattern for each locale, you must set the specific page or an element ancestor of that page as "Localized".
